Founder, Paul Knight
Hi, I’m Paul Knight, the founder of The Good Mood Method. Having been in the health and fitness industry for over 35 years, I’ve seen all the trends come and go. I’ve watched the ‘wellness’ industry grow into a giant, and by this, I mean both the diet and fitness industries combined. And more recently, the self-help business; but the population is unhappy with their lot.
I know that modern life is busy and stressful with many moving parts. Time and money are tight. I have experienced all the excuses, confusion, behavioural patterns, and beliefs around living a healthy lifestyle. But it doesn’t need to be this way.
I wanted to create an affordable, simple, and long-lasting alternative to going to a gym, a class, or going on a diet, seeking medication, or counseling. Because 9 times out of 10 they don’t work in the long run. I wanted to create something that could easily fit into the day without having to dramatically change the day. And this is why I created The Good Mood Method.
Expert advice
As a health and fitness professional, I know a lot of people. Clinical nutritionists, personal trainers, hypnotherapists, NLP practitioners, clinical phycologists, yoga and mindfulness teachers, and the list goes on. All of these friends and ex-colleagues have contributed their expertise to make The Good Mood Method what it is today.
So how do you get into a good mood?
The good mood cycle explained
- When you move more your mood improves. When you are in a better mood, you will enjoy it and want to move more. The cycle goes on.
- The better your mood the better your choices will be around food. The less unhealthy foods you eat, the better your mood will be. The cycle goes on.
- With a focused mindset, you are better able to cope with whatever comes your way. This in turn improves your mood and the cycle goes on!
All 3 are linked and all 3 matter.
The secret is to know how to move, eat, and focus so you can finally live a happier life in a body you actually like, the easiest way possible, and that my friend, is the good mood method in a nutshell!
